A 40minute presentation suitable for all audiences except young children. This presentation explores the effects of the Standard Western Diet on human health, the environment and animals raised for food. This motivational talk gives a comprehensive overview of plant-based nutrition, which is timely given the urgent calling of the United Nations for a global shift toward a vegetarian diet.

A 40 minute presentation on the health benefits of eating more plant foods, and wraps up with a question and answer period. This motivational talk is suitable for youth of all ages, and is tailored accordingly for elementary students. Students love the interaction in this presentation and always have lots of questions!
“Aging With Optimal Health”
A half hour talk that covers the merits of a plant-based diet, the Blue Zones and what has been discovered about telemere length: how we can stop them from getting shorter and even make them grow! As well, during this talk I share simple strategies for adopting a plant-based diet, which benefits anyone at any age.
“Plant-Based Nutrition: One Dietary Prescription”
A 30 minute presentation sharing what the leading nutrition mentors of our time have discovered about diet and disease, why there is one strategy from the standpoint of anatomy and physiology, and how to make the shift. This talk is suitable for health care professionals.
Margot holds a B.Ed and is a member of the College of Teachers of Ontario, is a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, is a Certified Personal fitness trainer and is an MSc candidate.
Each year, Taiga Whole Health immersions are to be held at the Taiga Headquarters. This 3 day event includes delicious plant based meals, cooking demos, guest speakers, hikes, fitness classes, personal training tips, and more.
